How to Use Eyebrow Stencils
Stencils come in small solid sheets and they are very simple to use. However, the application depends according to the needs of the brows.
For thick eyebrows:
- Place the stencil over the brows. Make sure that the shape of the stencil keeps the eyebrow hairs inside it.
- Use a white eyebrow pencil to draw over the pattern.
- Using tweezers, pluck the excess hairs which are out of the pattern that you drew.
For thin eyebrows:
- Place the stencil over the eyebrows. Let the stencil eat the present hairs of the brows.
- Adjust the angle of the stencil according to how you want your brows to be angled. Different face shapes may require specific eyebrow angles.
- Using a pencil, draw over the stencil very lightly. Fill in the space completely. You can also use a brush and fill the space with powder.
For balding eyebrows:
- Before drawing, you need to assess the best shape and angle of the brows for your face. Use a makeup pencil to mark the beginning and end of the brows. From the middle of the nose bridge, measure 1.5 cm to the eyebrows. Mark this with the pencil.
- Get a pen and set it at a diagonal from the nostril to the outer corner of the eye. Mark the end of the eyebrows with a pencil.
- Place the stencil over the markings from beginning to end. Adjust the angles to match you facial features. You can now draw over the stencil or brush with powder several times to achieve a dark shade.
